This E-Course is for businesses (purchase grants access for unlimited participants within the same company). This course was designed to educate participants to be better equipped to combat Forced Labour & Child Labour (Modern Slavery) in supply chains. It will also provide an overview of the new legislation in Canada and the mandatory compliance obligations for subject entities. This course consists of 2 modules: Module 1: Examining Modern Slavery & Spotting Risk, which will cover: - Examination of the prevalence of forced and child labor in supply chains globally; - Overview of the complexities of supply chains - Identification of “high risk” industries, practices, goods, and problem regions Module 2: Understanding the Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act (Canada) & Business Strategies for Change, which will cover: - Overview of the global regulation of Modern Slavery - Detailed review of the new Fighting Against Forced and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act - General guidance for businesses to assist in combating modern slavery & meeting compliance obligations under the Act A knowledge assessment will be provided at the end of each module. An 80% grade or higher is required to receive a completion certificate. A portion of the proceeds received from each purchase of this course will be donated to charitable/non-profit organizations, or other initiatives dedicated to ending Modern Slavery.
